Meals and Medications Meals are served 2X a day and prescribed medications are administered as requested. Each dog is separated into our spacious runs for mealtimes and given a full 30 minutes to relax and digest their breakfast or dinner. Meals are provided 2 hours before bed time which gives each dog the opportunity to relieve themselves outside before their much needed sleep time. Food from home is strongly recommended, although house food is also available. Keeping your pet on his or her own familiar diet provides some comfort from home and helps reduce stomach problems from abrupt changes in food. We have a refrigerator, freezer and microwave so we can store and or prepare just about any food requests. Each overnight guest is assigned a special 16 x 24 cabinet where we post critical information and store food and personal items from home. We request that you bring food in containers that can fit into our cabinet space. This way we can keep your pet's food and personal items better organized and secure. If you have the time before leaving town, the staff especially appreciates pre-measured meals in baggies!
